Forces lay siege to Pattan village in north KashmirPattan, March 11: (KNO)Government forces on Monday launched a cordon-and -search- operation (CASO) at Tantrapora village of Palahan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports reaching News agency KNO said that a joint team of army’s 29RR, SOG personnel laid a siege around the Tantrapora village, following the inputs about the presence of militant in the area.

 Immediately after the siege, the forces, according to the Locals, began a door to door search operation.

Search operation in the area was on when last reports came in.

However, there was no report of any contact between militants and forces.(KNO)
